The BHCC Library & Learning Commons delivers services crucial for student success at Bunker Hill Community College. Our services include Information Literacy instruction, quality resource selection, and an academic learning environment.

The library is located on the Charlestown Campus on the third floor of the N-Building. The library serves all BHCC locations: the Charlestown Campus, the Chelsea Campus, and the satellite locations.

The library is a member of NOBLE (North of Boston Library Exchange) and FLO (Fenway Library Organization).

Current Database Trials

1. Career & Technical Education Database - Trial available until May 23, 2024. From ProQuest. Career & Technical Education Database is the definitive source for vocational information for users across the college prep and academic space. The database includes nearly 1,000 full-text titles, including trade journals and magazines, scholarly journals, and blogs and video content. Students and instructors can research vocational topics including computer science, engineering, healthcare, building trades, law enforcement, food industry, sales and retail, and transportation.
2. Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center - Trial available until May 23, 2024. From Infobase. Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center is an award-winning reference database for lifelong career exploration and planning. It offers a wealth of resources for users to assess their career goals and interests, plan their education, learn workplace skills, find apprenticeships and internships, conduct a job search, and much more. It provides users with clean, fast access to core content; a fully responsive design; a seamless multimedia experience; unparalleled, up-to-date information; proprietary directories of apprenticeships and internships; and financial aid and school search databases.
