New Student Registration for Winter and Spring 2026
Attend this orientation event to get help applying, registering for classes, paying for college, and more! During this event, students will be able to:
- Apply for admission and drop off documentation (transcripts, etc.)
- Speak to BHCC staff for help choosing your educational pathway
- Learn about financial aid and how to pay for college
- Meet with an advisor to plan and register for classes
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
Activity: Present a flawed argument and ask students to use Socratic questioning to break it down (e.g., “What evidence supports this claim?”).
Reflection: How does questioning assumptions and evidence help clarify the strength of an argument?
This workshop will focus on starting the career exploration process. Students will receive an overview of the career exploration process and complete a Career Coach assessment.
Experience the creativity of THR 140: Improvisation students at BHCC Improv Night! Enjoy spontaneous comedy, inventive storytelling, and audience-fueled fun as students showcase their collaborative skills quick thinking in an unforgettable live performance.
