Spring 2026 Graduation Application Opens
This workshop will focus on starting the career exploration process. Students will receive an overview of the career exploration process and complete a Career Coach assessment.

Join the Admissions & Recruitment Department to learn about the following Associate Degrees and Certificate programs: Medical Assistant Certificate, Paramedic Studies - Associate in Science, Paramedic Certificate, Patient Care Technician Certificate, Pharmacy Technician Certificate, Certified Nursing Aid - Courses, EMT course
These Programs of Study and Certificates are offered at the Chelsea Campus and are part of the Health Pathway at Bunker Hill Community College. Details about the application process, each program's admissions requirements, application deadlines and career outlook will be shared. We will also review clinical affiliations and clinical requirements.

Visit with Framingham State University
We are pleased to welcome prospective first-year students to campus for a tour. Led by an admission counselor, this hour and half visit includes a Bunker Hill application overview and a campus tour. The overview covers the admission process and financial aid, followed up by a student led tour.
Advance registration is required. We will not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors at this time.

Career Advising 102 -Creating a Career Plan
This workshop is for students who have a career path in mind already. In this workshop, students will actively create a career plan, using MassHire 360 and Career Coach, free online resources at BHCC. Using these resources, students will be able to confirm what licensure or certifications are required, search for potential employers or transfer schools, and identify required skills for their career goal.

Transfer Application Session
Are you preparing to graduate and working on your transfer applications? This session is designed to give you the time and space to focus. Feel free to come and go as you like—there’s no formal start time, so drop in whenever it works for you. We offer sessions tailored to your transfer goals, including:
- General Application Sessions (virtual and in-person)
- MassTransfer-Focused Sessions
- Partner College Sessions
You'll have access to a quiet workspace where you can work independently on your four-year college applications - whether you're starting your Common App, drafting your transfer essay, or gathering materials. A transfer advisor will be available to help with questions, offer guidance on where to begin, and point you toward helpful resources.
While this isn't a formal workshop with step-by-step instruction, it's a great opportunity to get support with those tricky or unclear parts of the process. Use the time in whatever way works best for you.
Desktop computers will be available for in-person sessions, or feel free to bring your laptop, drafts, and questions. We're here to help you move forward!

In this session, Jacqueline Clark ""Bean"" from Advising and LifeMap, will review how to plan and register courses on Self-Service. We will review the curriculum outlines for both the Sociology and Psychology degree programs and helpful advising tips when registering for courses and planning for future semesters.

Worcester Polytech and Worcester State visit with Free Transportation
Join BHCC transfer advisors for a full-day college visit to two dynamic institutions in Worcester: Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Worcester State University (WSU). This is a great opportunity to explore different campus environments, learn about academic programs, and connect with admissions staff.
FREE LUNCH PROVIDED!
What to Expect:
- Guided campus tours led by current students
- Admissions information sessions at both schools
- Time to explore dining options and student spaces
- A chance to ask questions and get a feel for each campus
Trip Details:
- Students will meet in the G-lobby on the first floor of the Charlestown campus at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
- Departure: 8 a.m from Bunker Hill Community College
- Return: Between 5–5:30 p.m. (depending on traffic)
This visit is a great way to compare two college experiences and gather insights to help you plan your transfer journey. Space is limited, so be sure to confirm your spot!"

See innovation in Adult Basic Education at its best. Join us for the First Literacy Spotlight on Innovation in Adult Basic Education on November 7 from 9:30 am to 12 pm in C-202 Lecture Hall. Coffee and networking from 9:30 - 10 a.m. The program will begin at 10 a.m.

- Keynote speaker Dr. Vitalis C. Osuji, M.D., MPH, General Surgery Resident Physician,UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate & former First Literacy Scholar and BHCC alum. Hear Dr. Osuji speak about his journey as an adult learner and the challenges he overcame to achieve his dream of becoming a doctor.
- First Literacy 2024-2025 grant recipients will showcase newly tested and implemented innovative and impactful curriculum resources and initiatives.

These virtual information sessions are open to prospective students interested in learning about the transfer-in process at BHCC. During these one-hour virtual sessions, students will learn about our academic programs, the steps to enroll at the college, ways to transfer in college credits, as well as student engagement offerings and resources. Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join the free Exploring Leadership Seminar, a 9-week on-campus experience open to all BHCC students. Over the course of 9 weeks, you'll dive into a variety of topics with engaging lectures, interactive activities, and presentations from professionals in the field. Seminar topics include social justice, conflict management, positive psychology, appreciative inquiry, emotional intelligence, and more! Lunch and textbooks will be provided to all students. Presented by BHCC’s Office of Student Leadership and Engagement.
