BHCC’s Registered Nursing Program celebrated fall 2022 graduates with a pinning ceremony on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Dean of Health Sciences Maryanne Atkinson welcomed everyone and recognized all faculty, staff, clinical instructors, and administrators who helped students arrive at this achievement. Student speakers William Schuller and Zaira Nicolau Vazquez shared emotional speeches while thanking their friends, families, professors, and fellow students for their support on the journey through nursing school. The ceremony commenced with graduates reciting the Nightingale Pledge, an adaptation of the physician Hippocratic Oath for nurses.
