In addition to state and federal sources of financial aid available to qualified students, BHCC offers a number of scholarships to incoming students. By combining state and/or federal grants with College scholarships, some students may be able to cover their entire cost of attending BHCC, including books, transportation and living expenses. Depending on a student’s financial need, a BHCC scholarship may make it possible for the student to defer taking a federal grant, thus extending eligibility for PELL support so that it can be used for completion of a baccalaureate degree.
All scholarship applicants must complete the appropriate application form, submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form, and write a short essay. Applications can be found, when made available, on the Scholarships page
