City of Boston Growing the Early Childhood Workforce Fund
BHCC is a proud recipient of funding from the City of Boston’s Growing the Early Childhood Workforce Fund. Through this project, BHCC will offer programming to support completion of associate degrees and pathways to bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Development.
Program Components
- Coursework offered in communities across the City of Boston
- Coursework delivered in languages other than English
- Articulation of non-credit professional development into credit courses required for associate degree
- English language pathway support for transition into associate degree program
- Childcare, technology, transportation, and other basic needs supports
- Career planning supports
- Registered apprenticeships
