The Business Administration Department at Bunker Hill Community College is a collegial, student-centered learning community that provides a diverse student population with innovative, creative, and relevant education in business disciplines. We strive to maximize student success by placing graduates in a competitive position when seeking employment in a business environment or upon transfer to a four-year academic institution, ultimately empowering them to compete responsibly and successfully in today’s global business environment.

MassTransfer benefits eligible students transferring to an in-state State University or UMass institution. Additionally, BHCC has articulation agreements specific to many business programs in surrounding 4-year institutions, guaranteeing admissions to qualified graduates.
- Course Offerings and Schedule Flexibility: BHCC’s business courses are under six general categories; business, accounting, finance, management, computer information, and sport management. Business courses can be taken at three convenient locations, in four formats (on-site, online, hybrid, and self-directed) over days/evenings/weekends and via regular semesters or mini-sessions. This flexibility accommodates students who may have additional work or family responsibilities.
- Career-Focused Programs: BHCC’s business programs are career-focused, providing practical skills and knowledge relevant to the local job market. Students can acquire the skills needed for entry-level positions or to start their own businesses. Our programs are designed to provide a quicker pathway into the workforce, particularly our A.S. degree programs. Students can often complete their business education in a shorter timeframe compared to four-year programs.

Learn & Earn Internship Program
BHCC’s Learn and Earn program places students in Greater Boston’s top corporations, small businesses, non-profit, and civic organizations for a hands-on experience and the possibility of career exploration. The program promotes student accessibility, diversity, retention, and completion. These internships take place at some of the largest businesses in Massachusetts, and most often, BHCC business students make up the majority of placed internships.
