Exhibition Policy

Exhibitions at the Mary L. Fifield Art Gallery reflect the philosophy that “art leads the way.” Shows and events provide opportunities to initiate scholarship and/or become a teaching vehicle for students, faculty, and staff for engagement with history, current events, and social movements. Programming is planned in advance and executed with academic department sponsorship and involvement. Works are selected according to artistic merit, cultural relevance, and thought-provoking discussion and critical thinking. The gallery hosts both solo and group or thematic shows.
