Submerge yourself in the vibrant culture of Panama, where sociology becomes a living experience! 

Journey with us from June 22 to June 30 as we delve into the Principles of Sociology. This course, not only a cornerstone for general education, serves as a vital component for students in Behavioral Science and Criminal Justice concentrations. Over the years, this unique program has embraced diverse methodologies, including Cultural Analysis through Media Content analysis, Museum Artifact analysis, Community Tour analysis, and various Place-based and Project-based Experiential learning approaches.

Panama City, with its rich cultural tapestry, provides a unique backdrop for this immersive sociological exploration. From the Museum of African American History (MAAH) to insightful community analyses, students will absorb the cultural fabric of this vibrant city.

Mental Health

Leaving your familiar surroundings may add stress to your daily routine. If you have been treated for certain conditions (i.e. depression, anxiety disorder, etc.) please check with your health care provider and confirm that the study abroad experience is right for you.
