BHCC Paving Project Update: Improvements Underway!

We are pleased to share that long-awaited improvements to the roadways and parking lots at the Charlestown Campus are now underway. After years of enduring potholes, poor drainage, broken curbs, and sunken utility trenches, our paving project is finally moving forward—and we appreciate your continued patience as we work to enhance campus access and safety.

What’s Happening

Construction involves saw cutting, removing and replacing asphalt, repairing curbs, improving drainage, milling, and line striping. The work depends on weather conditions and may change as needed. Throughout the project, you will see ongoing adjustments to traffic flow and access.

Please stay alert to changing traffic control devices and signage. Walking paths from Parking Lots 1 and 2 will remain accessible at all times.

Important Reminder: Parking Lots 1 and 2 are owned by the City of Boston and managed by Pilgrim Parking. A parking fee applies; all posted rules and regulations must be followed.
