We are pleased to welcome prospective first-year students to campus for a tour. Led by an admission counselor, this hour and half visit includes a Bunker Hill application overview and a campus tour. The overview covers the admission process and financial aid, followed up by a student led tour.
Advance registration is required. We will not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors at this time.

Career Advising 102 -Creating a Career Plan
This workshop is for students who have a career path in mind already. In this workshop, students will actively create a career plan, using MassHire 360 and Career Coach, free online resources at BHCC. Using these resources, students will be able to confirm what licensure or certifications are required, search for potential employers or transfer schools, and identify required skills for their career goal.

Are you preparing to graduate and working on your transfer applications? This session is designed to give you the time and space to focus. Feel free to come and go as you like—there’s no formal start time, so drop in whenever it works for you. We offer sessions tailored to your transfer goals, including:
- General Application Sessions (virtual and in-person)
- MassTransfer-Focused Sessions
- Partner College Sessions
You'll have access to a quiet workspace where you can work independently on your four-year college applications - whether you're starting your Common App, drafting your transfer essay, or gathering materials. A transfer advisor will be available to help with questions, offer guidance on where to begin, and point you toward helpful resources.
While this isn't a formal workshop with step-by-step instruction, it's a great opportunity to get support with those tricky or unclear parts of the process. Use the time in whatever way works best for you.

Worcester Polytech and Worcester State visit with Free Transportation
Join BHCC transfer advisors for a full-day college visit to two dynamic institutions in Worcester: Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Worcester State University (WSU). This is a great opportunity to explore different campus environments, learn about academic programs, and connect with admissions staff.
FREE LUNCH PROVIDED!
What to Expect:
- Guided campus tours led by current students
- Admissions information sessions at both schools
- Time to explore dining options and student spaces
- A chance to ask questions and get a feel for each campus
Trip Details:
- Students will meet in the G-lobby on the first floor of the Charlestown campus at 7:45 a.m. sharp.
- Departure: 8 a.m from Bunker Hill Community College
- Return: Between 5–5:30 p.m. (depending on traffic)

Join staff from UMass Boston and Bunker Hill as they discuss the Future Beacon Joint Admissions Program between BHCC and UMass Boston! The information session will review how you join the program, key benefits, and what you can expect as a Future Beacon Joint Admissions participant.
The Future Beacon Joint Admissions program is for students who have earned fewer than 30 college credits towards their associate's degree. If you are beyond 30 credits, UMass Boston is still able to assist you with advising on transfer credit, the admissions process and any other transfer questions you may have. We encourage you to connect with a UMass Boston Transfer Enrollment Counselor either in-person at BHCC, or to schedule an appointment online!

These series will discuss well-known figures like Nipmuc African American Crispus Attucks as well as lesser known Native peoples involved in the Revolutionary War.
