Public Figures

BHCC has also hosted some public figures throughout the years. Notable names include Manhattan Project member Edward Teller, Ophthalmologist Dr. Olga Maria Ferrer an important figure in the development of retinal imaging and eye microsurgery. Additional visitors include Sergei Khrushchev, son of Soviet Union Premier Nikita Khrushchev, co-founder of Ben and Jerry, and activist Jerry Greenfield, former first lady of Egypt, Jehan Sadat, and members of the New England Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen.
