Bunker Hill Community College Earns Grant to Expand Higher Education Access for Latinos

Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) has received a $200,000 Vision Project Performance Incentive Fund grant from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education for a project designed to help greater numbers of underserved Latino students attend college and complete their degrees. Latinos comprise 23 percent of the BHCC student population.

Bunker Hill Community College Men’s Soccer Team Reaches New Heights at Nationals

The BHCC men’s soccer team, the Bulldogs, ended another incredible soccer season with a new high. For the first time in its history, the Bulldogs soundly trounced two higher-ranked teams to advance to the third and final game of the NJCAA National Tournament, held November 12-16 at Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, New York.

Hailing from institutions of higher education that included Xiangyang Vocational and Technical College, Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College, Ningxia Polytechnic and Changzhou Institute of Mechatronic Technology, 24 academics from China visited Bunker Hill Community College on December 2, 2015.
