BHCC Student, Alumna and Staff Recognized at PIC Annual Meeting

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) hosted its 2019 Annual Meeting at the Federal Reserve Bank Auditorium to celebrate 40 years of strengthening Boston’s communities and its workforce by connecting youth and adults with education and employment opportunities, as well as recognize the impact of 2019 PIC Achievers. This years’ event speakers included Mayor Marty Walsh and Superintendent of Boston Public Schools Brenda Cassellius, Ed.D.At the event, the PIC recognized individuals who embody the PIC mission and make the work possible. 2019 PIC Achievers included BHCC alumna Jasmine Lemus, now studying at UMass Boston; current student and criminal justice major Alejandro Gomez Catano; and Special Programs Coordinator of Student Central Michael Costello.
