Giovanni Cordero Novas Named Player of the Year

BHCC Men’s basketball player, Giovanni Cordero Novas was named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 21 Player of the Year.

As one of the team’s captains, the BHCC Athletics program describes him as a leader on and off the court. This season Cordero Novas lead the region in points per game (28.2), rebounds (283) and steals (89). He also excels in the classroom, during the Fall 2024 semester, he received NJCAA honor roll with a GPA of 3.67.  Next up, Cordero Novas will be nominated for the chance to be named to the all-American team.
