Monday, April 9, 2012
BHCC Magazine, a publication of Bunker Hill Community College, received a Silver award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) at the organization’s national conference in San Francisco, BHCC President Mary L. Fifield announced today. NCMPR sets the standards for professionals working in the areas of communications, marketing, fundraising and alumni relations at two-year colleges nationwide.
BHCC Magazine previously received two awards from NCMPR’s district organization, which covers the northeast United States and parts of Canada, at its conference in Baltimore last fall, along with an award for design from the University and College Designers Association (UCDA). “Earning four major honors in one year makes us very proud at Bunker Hill Community College,” said Patricia Brady, editor of the magazine.
Launched just five years ago, BHCC Magazine received Gold awards in 2007 and 2009 from NCMPR and a Gold and Silver award from the northeast district of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), an organization that honors achievements in communications at both two- and four-year institutions of higher education.
