Welcome to the Education Department

Program Mission Statement

The Education Department engages students in the study of theory and practice with the purpose of preparing them to begin or enhance their career in the field of Education. The Department does this by providing rigorous, research-based instruction, relevant field work and assignments with a focus on collaboration, equity and community. Students learn how to support and enrich the lives of children and families through high quality early childhood education and care.
