Women’s Edge Honors Bunker Hill Community College in Top 100 List

The annual Women’s Edge Top 100 Women-Led Businesses honors trailblazing women and celebrates the achievements of organizations prioritizing gender equity and leadership excellence. This year, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) has proudly earned a place on the list for the fourth consecutive time, coming in at number 68. BHCC stands among several distinguished Boston-area higher education institutions, such as Suffolk University, UMass Lowell, Regis College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Simmons University, reflecting the strong commitment to inclusivity and leadership across the region.
This year’s honorees include BHCC President Pam Eddinger, who was recognized for her dedication to advancing equitable access to higher education. The event also featured keynote speaker Debbie Lovich, Managing Director and Senior Partner of Boston Consulting Group. She brought humor and insights on leadership and strategic ways to invoke “joy” in the workplace.
The November 3 issue of Globe Magazine showcases this prestigious ranking. Developed by Women’s Edge, a nonprofit supporting female business leaders, the list is based on criteria like revenue or operating budget, in-state employee numbers, workplace diversity and management diversity, and organization innovation. Women’s Edge calculates the final ranks using a unique formula emphasizing impactful leadership.
