Looking for a meaningful career in the field that’s also in high-demand in the state of Massachusetts? A FREE course is being offered in the Spring of 2025 at BHCC to launch you into the field of Social Work.

Exploring Social Work Careers

This course provides an overview of various careers in social work including clinician, school based, medical and community based social work.

Wednesday, April 23 – Saturday, April 26
W, Th, F: 6-9 p.m.
Saturday: 9-3 p.m.

Register

This course will give students insights into the roles, responsibilities, and qualifications required for the social work profession. A particular emphasis on the practical skills needed for this career path, effective communication, and empathy, and embracing diversity and social justice.

The course will be offered as open enrollment and can also be offered to employers as a custom training to upskill incumbent workers at your organization.

  • Courses is intended to feed into the Human Services degree program and  Behavior Sciences degree at BHCC
