Bunker Hill Community College Named Top 100 Women-Led Business by Women’s Edge

Monday, November 6, 2023

The annual Women’s Edge Two 100 Women-Led Businesses is an annual who’s-who of leaders, companies, and institutions that exemplify gender equity and excellence. For the third consecutive year, Bunker Hill Community College was included on the list, this year coming in at number 55.

BHCC is one of several Boston-area higher education institutions on the list, including Suffolk University, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Regis College, and Simmons University. The ranking appears in the November 5 edition of the Globe Magazine.

According to the Globe, the ranking is based on a long-standing set of standards. For each organization, The Women’s Edge, a nonprofit that supports female business leaders, examined revenue or operating budget as well as other variables, including number of full-time employees in the state, workplace and management diversity, and innovative projects. The Women’s Edge then ranked organizations according to its own formula. This is the 22nd year that The Women’s Edge has created the list and the 10th year that the Globe Magazine has partnered with the group.
