Transfer 101 - Planning and Exploring

Students should complete Transfer 101 before attending Transfer 102. (Recommended for students with 0-30 credits) This workshop will focus on the first two stages of transferring: Planning and Exploring. Students will receive an overview of statewide transfer programs and incentives, how to transfer credits, searching for colleges, and other resources to clarify the transfer process. Recommended for students who are learning about transferring for the first time. It's never too early to begin thinking about transfer!

(Recommended for students with 30-60 credits and who have attended the Transfer 101 Workshop) Are you getting close to graduating? This workshop will focus on the final two stages of transferring: Applying and Deciding. Topics that will be covered include: applying to four-year colleges and making informed decisions on which colleges to attend, requesting letters of recommendations, writing your transfer essays, and using the Common Application.

Virtual college information sessions are events that allow prospective students to meet with Transfer Advisors and Admissions Counselors from Bunker Hill. During these one-hour sessions, students learn about each of the academic pathways, student engagement opportunities, and the process for applying and transferring into BHCC.
