Join company member and Co-Artistic Director of Double Edge Theatre, Carlos Uriona, as he discusses his lived experiences with the political turmoil and terrorism of Argentina, both historically and at present. His career in theatre advances equity and justice through dramatizing untold stories and brings attention to his efforts to build a more sustainable theatre that connects to the past and envisions a sustainable future, both locally and globally. The evening will include excerpts from The Mothers of the Piazza, or the Eruption of the Invisible from Howling at the Moon (debut June 2021)—a recent theatrical experience that explores mythic tales and ancestral.
